HOT NEWS 2

Dracula’s Daughter (1936), starring Otto Kruger, Gloria Holden, Marguerite Churchill, and Edward Van Sloan, has earned the status of one of Universal’s most unusually provocative and overlooked horror films. The production underwent a strange evolution from script to screen. Bela Lugosi, cast in the beginning, posed for publicity stills, yet never appeared in the film. Director A. Edward Sutherland was replaced by Lambert Hillyer. Other troubles plagued the expensive production, but the finished result proved to be a haunting sequel to Dracula (1931).

Discover the intriguing full story in Philip J. Riley’s exhaustive and entertaining research work. Available in hardback, paperback, and e-book editions.

ANIMATED JOY

Most authors respond this way, when told we're putting their book out in a hardback edition, but many readers also prefer these hardback editions because they stand up on one end and make great paper weights. My ex-girlfriend found them quite impacting . . . especially whenever she threw one at me. Check out these new hardback editions. Brace yourself for animated joy.
